Ich habe auf meiner SIM einen Shop stehen in dem ein " VOODOO BOT PROTECT V2.0" verkauft wird.
Die Notecard liest sich wie folgt:
How the system works
-------------------------
*) The land owner purchases and rezzes the bot protect device on their land.
*) If the land is group owned, they must deed the device to the group.
*) Every 20 seconds a scan of nearby avatars is made by the device.
*) The names of the avatars are sent to our central server where the bot list is stored.
*) Any names present in the list are sent back to the bot protect device in Second Life.
*) The device sends home and bans any known bots.
How we detect bots, alts, griefers and illegal viewers
-----------------------------------------------------------
*) Voodoo has a team of experienced Bot Hunters with many tools to help them.
*) The bot hunter will first examine the avatar for any tell tale signs of them being an offender.
*) The suspect will then be IM'd to see if they respond, and if so, tested for chatbot activity.
*) The bot hunter will then use their Voodoo hud to analyse the IP address of the suspect.
*) Several other third party tools are used to test the suspect.
*) If the bot hunter is over 50% sure the suspect is an offender, they are added to the list.
*) Strict rules are in place for Bot Hunters. No personal grudges or malicious bans or they are fired.
What happens if we add a real person
------------------------------------------
*) There is a form on the website to check if you are in the list.
*) If you are found in the list and want to be removed, you must IM Monkey Wonder, or the Anti Bot Group.
*) When we receive the request for removal, we will look at the reasons the person was banned and re-evaluate.
*) If there is any doubt the person is removed from the list immediately.
Am interessantesten finde ich den Abschnitt "How we detect bots, alts, griefers and illegal viewers".
Da geht jemand los und kann meine IP Adresse analysieren?
